Designer Peter Som, who announced yesterday that he is ending his joint venture with investor Creative Design Studios, is exploring options for the fall season. Mr. Som has already canceled his runway show, which would have taken place during fashion week next month in New York.

Elana Posner, chief executive and president of Peter Som, said that she and Mr. Som will be working directly with all key retail accounts on a solution.

“Our highest priority is meeting the needs of our retailers and customers during these difficult times,” Ms. Posner said in a statement. “We have successfully met early ship dates for all resort orders to maximize selling time on the retail floor and are on schedule for an early delivery date for Spring as production will be completed over the next couple weeks.”
