Data Drinks: Breaking Down Dante's 42,590 Negronis

The first week in June is a little bit like Christmas for certain drinks nerds.

That's because it's Negroni Week, when venues around the world make serve one drink (or variations on it) in order to raise money for charity.

In the new edition of "Data Drinks," we take a look at the New York City bar that has established itself as the go-to place for Negronis, all yearlong.

Where: Dante is a celebrated bar in New York's Greenwich Village. While the cafe itself dates back to 1915, new ownership took it over and revamped it in 2015.

This new Dante, under the direction of Linden Pride and Naren Young, has since notched some of the biggest industry awards, most recently landing as number 16 on the World's 50 Best Bars list. With a focus on classic Italian fare and high quality service in a relaxed environment, Dante quickly established itself as the place for Italian drinks of all kinds.
